A message from the owner

We would love the opportunity to meet you and give your family a Free Introductory Tour of our facilities and give your child a Free Introductory Class. During the tour we will explain all of the features and benefits of our After-School Program, show you our facilities, and answer any questions you might have about our program.

Competitive Edge accepts children who demonstrate good character, who want to have fun and enjoy the life-changing benefits of martial arts, and who have strong family support for our program.

I sincerely hope you’ve enjoyed reading about Competitive Edge Martial Arts Training Center and learning about the many benefits of our After School Martial Arts Program.

I look forward to meeting you and your child!

Sincerely,
Sharon Monroe
Director Instructor and owner
Competitive Edge Martial Arts Training Center

P.S. Don’t forget to inquire about our family discounts for two or more children in the program. You can also receive family discounts on our great classes for parents or older siblings in Taekwondo, Judo, Boxing, MMA and more!

P.P.S. We often run special tour discounts – be sure to ask the instructor if one is currently running while at your tour!

P.P.P.S. I know there are many reasons to put off applying for your child, but please go ahead and apply now. Without the confidence, self-discipline and positive attitude that a program like ours offers, your child potentially faces too many scary and unpleasant obstacles: Poor health and fitness, susceptibility to negative peer pressure, a worsening of focus and concentration leading to poor performance in school, and lack of self-defense skills that could be vital to save your child’s life some day.

Your child can also have a place to go to have fun and learn Martial art during school closings

What can I say about this amazing place, we love everything, lol!!! My daughter is new to the school district, and I was searching for an after-school program for her to be enrolled in. I was picking her up from school and the Competitive Edge van drove by and I thought let me call and check out this program. I called and she did a trial class that same day. She walked out from the class so excited, saying "Mom, I love it, can I go back!" The tune never changed since that day, every day when I pick her up, she talks about marital arts more than she talks about her day at school. The afterschool program not only picks them up from school, but they teach them Taekwondo, two for one deal. You can't beat that. All the staff are amazing with the kids and the administration team are so caring and understanding. I love this program for my daughter. Don't think twice about it. Sign up today, you won't regret it!

My child attends Competitive Edge for a several reasons. The program structure met my parental needs, in terms of being able to stay at work until closing time. What my child receives is actually beyond child care. At one point I arrived to pick my child up and the kids were collectively not having a "best behavior day". Without yelling one of the instructors was able to get all of the kids to settle down and listen. She asked them if they wanted thier parents to think of them as professional and polished and in a less than ten minutes the kids were focused and on task. Of course, there will be wiggly ninja's in the line-up but instead of hearing "You are doing it wrong" the kids are hearing "Do Ninja's wiggle?". The kids have a sense of community, they help each other and it is obvious that the instructors have earned the kids' respect.
